How does circulation affect design?
Circulation within interiors refers to how space is designed to facilitate human flow in an interior environment. Circulation considerations include the type of use, direction, the frequency of use and the time of use.
Just as how horizontal direction of circulation communicates how people move in and around on a particular level or floor, vertical circulation clearly convey the relationship between the levels and how people move between various floors.

How do we define Programme?
This if often the organization of elements, zones and spaces - of how the activities and functions of a space are summarized.
Programmatic requirements such as surface-to-volume ration and single vs double height affects form. Just as how spaces can be flexible, transitionary, dynamic and overlapping like circulation.

What is the relationship between Circulation and Programme?
Both concepts are utilized to curate spatial experiences and efficiency. When all is said and done, we design for the users of spaces and both circulation and programme are the core components where we connect a structure or space to the people.
